"I have a dog with brain damage(after a pit bull attack) and she now has seizures and overheats easily, but loves her daily 3 mile hikes. This cooling vest is really cool. It isn't messy or bulky or full of chemicals like he ones made with beads inside. I stick it in a bowl of ice water a few minutes before our walks and we are good to go. It really works in hot humid 90-100 degree with 70% humidity weather AND it covers her chest where the dogs really need the cooling.
I was worried about taking a chance with it being a bit pricey and only one review, but it is durable and lightweight and seems to really work. I am buying another one for my other dog to keep her cool on our walks, too!
