"This thing really works! I work nights and one morning when I came home somebody had left a note on my door complaining about my dog barking while I was gone. The note contained a threat of calling the police if my dog wouldn't stop. When I got the "Bark Deterrent" I immediately set it up near the fencelines where my dog can see out of the back yard. I gave it a quick test bark and watched Fritz' reaction. Sheesh, he cowed down and left the area immediately. I don't think it hurt him but was more of a surprise.
Since then I've heard him bark just once!!! Also, the unit was out in the frigid cold for about a week (-34 degrees) and the battery is still good. My neighbor across the street borrowed it for about a half and hour to see if it'd work on his two dogs which, it did. So, he asked me to order one for him which I've done (it should be here tomarrow). The neighbor who I think left the note on my door has a dog also and I think my unit supresses his bark also but, I won't leave a note on their door complaining that their dog barks too and maybe he should split the cost of my unit with me. I recommend this to anyone who's dog is a barker."
