"My neighbor's German Shepherd and I have had a love-hate relationship ever since my neighbors moved in at the beginning of the year. Dogs are dogs and they bark - I love dogs sp I get that - but my neighbors don't seem to understand dogs need to be given attention and played with. If a dog is left alone in the back yard all day with nothing to do, he will of course bark, and my peace and quiet suffered for it.

I spoke with my neighbors several times and had them actually get mad at me - how does that work exactly? Anyway I decided that enough was enough and I purchased the Dog Silencer after reading about it and checking out the money back guarantee. I figured worst case scenario, it doesn't work, I get my money back and try something else.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to set up but it would have been nice to have more illustrations of the settings rather than the wall of text in their instruction manual. Regardless after about 2 days the dog's barking stopped almost completely. He still barks in situations you would expect a dog to bark, like when his owners come home but the "boredom" barking is gone!

I'm keeping the device turned on in case the dog decides to get cute but he hasn't so far and I'm thrilled. Highly recommend this product! "
