For those Scoop free users who are frustrated by the high price of factory refills and worried about the quality of knock-off brands found in their local pet store, but still want the convenience of a disposable tray, LitterWorks has the answer! While the Forever Litter Tray is a great solution for a permanent tray, it still has to be removed periodially for cleaning, a task which can be a bit yucky. LitterWorks has developed a basic "tray only" solution that allow customers to have the convenience of a disposable tray while being able to choose their brand of crystal litter. Crystal litter can be purchased online or at most brick/mortar stores often for about 1/2 the price (per lb) of a pre-filled tray. This tray is guaranteed not to leak!! This tray is laminated with a 1-mil thick plastic liner that is completely seamless. It can literally hold water for months at a time without any dampness on the outside of the tray. Note that in order to provide the most inexpensive solution, we did not include the flap that covers the waste. We feel that the hard plastic cover does a pretty good job of this and the flap is open so therefore does not try to contain odors.
